Production Assistant• Electric House 

 

In office responsibilities are to complete call sheets, risk assessments and other paperwork required for a shoot, liaise with actors to provide information and be main point of contact for a given shoot, source and arrange locations, accommodation and props as and when necessary. I also edit social media compilation videos for clients when required.

 

On location responsibilities are to act as a runner and help wherever needed. I brief actors on H&S, administer covid tests if required and get contributors and location owners to fill out release forms. I also have more production-based duties such as recording audio, building props and sets or travelling to purchase items for a shoot that are needed.

Working as a volunteer video editor for YouTube channel SpaceTV researching and cutting various short pieces of content using Premier Pro and After Effects.

PRODUCER, EDITOR AND PRESENTER | MIDLANDS GAMING SPOTLIGHT | JUNE 2020-SEPTEMBER 2020

​

  • Created to highlight the videogame industry in the East and West Midlands, the people who work in it and the games that are made

  • Completely produced and edited by me in lockdown with some studio time allocated by BCU for show introduction and conclusion filming.

  • Contacted and gained interviews with industry veterans including the co-founder of Playtonic games

  • Project was awarded distinction grade with final mark of 72

Shop assistant | Roadchef Spar | May 2017 - July 2021

  • Primary duties consist of replenishing stock, working deliveries, helping customers with their needs and questions and serving customers on checkouts

  • Cleans and maintains the Costa Express machine to high standard daily

  • Has been acting as a stand-in supervisor for over 2 years running the shop when required due to staff absence

  •  Focused on the course’s television strand. This means practical work is based in and around the production of "live" television shows and VT's.

  • Audited radio-based modules to bolster audio production experience

  • Consistently achieved mid to high merit grades (60-70) with two distinction grades (70+).
